I'm so sorry to hear of your accident. Being laid up and confined to quarters and dependent on other people can be very trying. I hope you manage to stay cheerful.

You've been able to call me and cheer me up as well. It's not just the elderly . . .

Oh Radish, I am so sorry to hear about your accident! Personally, I consider golf a dangerous game anyway, and now that I see that it can hurt one just by watching it, I plan to have no more to do with it. I do hope your bones are knitting at the same speed, (or better), as the socks are progressing. It never occurred to me that knitting could be hazardous to health also. The world is fraught with unknown dangers it seems. I'm keeping a very suspicious eye on my knitting bag!
I'm sending you wishes for speedy healing, continued great blogging, and some wonderfully happy meals (NOT the MacDonald's kind!!), from your culinary tutelage project.

Ah, Radish. You are a Woman After God's Own Heart. Writing notes and making phone calls is one of the ways you are supposed to reach out and give. Bloom where you are planted. Poppy can fertilize. Great post!!!!
