I know someone who is six today. And he is losing his second upper front tooth. Could be a really big day. Corn dogs and tater tots are for dinner.
I am not doing too much of a post today because I am trying to conquer the skills of typelisting the prayer list. I am reduced to actually reading instructions.
Lately I have been mildly obsessed with aprons. Generally I wear jeans and a T-shirt. Every front of every T-shirt I own is stained. So I am trying aprons. I like the ones that are long, as they look French to me. And I like retro ones. I would like Japanese, if I could find them. This fad of mine, I suspect, comes from wearing pinafores as a child. Every day my Mother had at the ready a freshly ironed pinafore for me. She did that until she had four children and ironing went by the board; plus jeans for kids came into style. Last weekend I heard that aprons ARE, in fact, a craze. Women are busily sewing aprons before the craze runs it course. The Angrychicken.typepad.com is a wonderful craft site and on the lower right hand side is the apron link. If you quilt, the Jane Boulton site is good.
