I am hoping that a good crowd will watch the Monday night drama on ABC at 8:00pm. It is drama of the lead up to 9/11. A five hour drama, over Sunday and Monday. Pressure by the Democrats for ABC to cancel the series have been made. This series starts at the first Trade Center bombing, and what happened after that.
I have listened to the producer several times on the radio, and he says that he did everything to be accurate, with the exception of one incident, which has been deleted. He says the world will never know the extent of harassment, he and his wife have suffered. While I think the program will be interesting, informative, and supportive of my point of view, the drama itself is now irrelevant to the suggestions from Democrats, to ABC about having its liscense revoked, if shown. This is a freedom of speech concern, which is the more important issue. The material for the show comes from the 9/11 commission, which the Democrats were quite willing to accept.
The recourse of the opposition is not to watch the program. This is what conservatives did with Fahrenheit 911.However, I think there will be a lot of material that all of America should see. Interesting stuff like where the operatives worked, and how. How they were trained. Why we should fear terrorists and their stratagem.
I am getting my knitting ready. It should be good.
*** This material has not been well proofed. My computer is down, and I am having trouble with the computer Iam using, so if a daughter happens to read this, would you please make corrections.
i'm currently working at an ABC affliate newstation and have been receiving angry emails all week, "don't make me picket in front of your station because i have other more important things to do." i hope this show does justice, is accurate to the extent it can be and unites people in understanding the real scope of the problems around the world. i will be disappointed if it is used as a political sounding board for election purposes.

if anyone has enjoyed watching the program they should write abc and thank them for not bowing to political pressure. there were more nasty emails in my inbox at work today from people indignant that the show was aired. some people can be a real bore.
