Mr. Radish has been quite concerned over the new government recommendations for mammograms which suggest, that if you are under 5o, you do not need one. Dr. Radish has read and listened to this information, and his conclusion is that indeed you, if you are wise, you should get mammograms. He hopes you young women will. This is the beginning of an attempt to save money in an insurance program or a government program.
I have seen three more good foreign flix these last two weeks.
All have English subtitles. But sometimes subtitles are what you have to do to see a good movie. All of the movies have war scenes making them unsuitable for children.
Zelary is the name of the first movie and the name of the heroine. A wonderful love story taking place during WWII in Czechoslovakia.
Mongol is the second movie and it is about Genghis Kahn's young life and into manhood. This takes place in the 12th Century. And if you tolerate war scenes, this is very good.
The Long Engagement is the last movie. It takes place in WWI and the war scenes of men in the trenches are horrible. I read this book and it was amazing how well the author portrayed the trenches and mud and the horror. This part of the movie is done in black and white. However, the other half of the story which is in color is about a young woman, who goes to every effort to be sure that her fiance who went to war, is in fact dead.
I saw at the theater The Blind Side and it was a very good movie and believe it or not, it is in English. Sandra Bullock should get a Academy Awards nomination.
