This is a farm stand in the Skagit Valley, Washington. I took these pictures about two weeks ago. The owners drive over to Yakima to collect the peaches. They grow a lettuce which is named French Crisp. This lettuce is huge and it lasts a week. The Skagit Valley is a wonderful place to grow lettuce in the coolness of the Sound. If you have cool summers plant French Crisp. It is my favorite.
